BONUS GUIDE
Understand casino bonus terms before accepting an offer
Headline percentages are easy to compare; the conditions underneath them determine whether an offer is actually usable.
← Back to concise home pageThis guide is informational and intended for adults aged 18 or over. Brazil regulates fixed-odds betting, including eligible online games, under federal law. Since 1 January 2025, operators offering nationally regulated fixed-odds betting need prior authorisation from the Ministry of Finance’s Secretariat of Prizes and Betting (SPA/MF), and federally authorised betting sites use .bet.br domains. Check the current official register and the complete terms before using any service.
BONUS BASICS
Read the mechanics of a bonus, not just the percentage
Two offers with the same headline percentage can have very different practical value. The terms determine how much qualifying play is required, which games contribute, whether there is a maximum bet while wagering and whether winnings from promotional funds are capped.

Wagering requirement
The amount of qualifying play required before bonus-related funds can normally be withdrawn. Check whether the multiplier applies to the bonus only or to both deposit and bonus.
Game contribution
Slots, live games and table games may contribute at different rates. A game that contributes 10% can make a requirement take far longer than expected.
Maximum bet
Some promotions set a maximum stake while wagering is active. Exceeding it can invalidate promotional winnings under the operator’s terms.
Expiry
A bonus may need to be activated or completed within a fixed period. The clock can materially affect whether the offer is usable.
Withdrawal cap
Some offers limit how much can be withdrawn from bonus-derived winnings. Compare the cap with the amount of play required.
Excluded payment methods
Certain deposit methods may not qualify for promotions. Check before depositing rather than assuming every cashier option is eligible.
If a R$100 bonus carries 30× wagering on the bonus amount, the nominal qualifying turnover is R$3,000. That figure can rise in practice when some games contribute less than 100%.
BRAZILIAN CONTEXT
Understanding access, rules and operator claims
Brazilian readers will encounter sites that describe themselves as “Brazil-friendly” or that accept Brazilian reais. Those phrases describe access or payment presentation; they do not prove that the operator is authorised in Brazil. For nationally regulated fixed-odds betting and eligible online games, the operator should be authorised by SPA/MF and the federally authorised website should use a .bet.br domain.
Before creating an account, identify the operating company and check it against the current SPA/MF authorised-operator list where federal regulation applies. Confirm that the company, brand and domain match official records, and review the stated complaints process. Avoid any site that obscures ownership, pressures you to deposit immediately or presents an authorisation badge that cannot be independently confirmed.
Important legal note
Laws and enforcement can change. This page does not provide legal advice or guarantee that any service is available or lawful where you live. Check current SPA/MF guidance, the official authorised-operator list and any other applicable federal or state rules.
BONUS BASICS
How to read a casino bonus properly
A large headline number tells only a small part of the story. The useful value depends on the wagering requirement, eligible games, game contribution, maximum bet, expiry date and any cap on winnings or withdrawals. Promotions should be treated as optional extras, never as a reason to deposit more than planned.
- Calculate the total amount that must be wagered.
- Check whether the requirement applies to deposit plus bonus.
- Review excluded games and different contribution percentages.
- Note the time limit and maximum qualifying bet.
- Look for withdrawal caps or restricted payment methods.
